Custom Egyptian Faience Piece
Carolyn Riccardelli (’01) is donating a custom Egyptian faience piece to the winning bidder. The design will be a winged scarab pectoral made with traditional materials and techniques using the efflorescence glazing method. There are three components including a scarab surrounded by two outstretched wings. The artist will provide a display mount for the pectoral. Dimensions: 9 1/2” L x 2 1/4” H. This piece will be made after the auction and the timeframe can be worked out between Ms. Riccardelli and the auction winner. The item will be shipped directly to the owner after completion. The photographs represent an example piece that is similar to what will be created for the buyer.

Peruvian hand woven textile
A hand woven scarf created by Antonia Callañaupa Alvarez, a weaver from Chinchero, Peru. The textile is created from 100% naturally dyed yarns and features two bands of Loraypy Wacac Nawin (Cow Eye Loraypu) design, in addition to solid stripes of gold, rose, and forest green. The textile is 50" long and 7" wide with a fringe of approximately 3." Donated by Beverley Perkins ('86).
