While the event raises money for all student scholarships, this year we are focusing on a very special new opportunity for our students; The GRIT scholarship

The GRIT scholarship is a merit-based scholarship given to Buffalo State students based on their dedicated GRIT to succeed and their need for financial support.

It is not limited by GPA or Financial Aid eligibility. The only requirement is that someone on campus has witnessed the students GRIT and agrees to continue to support and advocate for the student in need.

The GRIT Scholarship was founded by alumni Michael Bonitatibus, '79, retired owner of Millington Lockwood Business Interiors.
